Developing Conscious Leaders & Mindful Workplaces

a Certified Leadership Coach, a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant, a Professional Speaker and Facilitator. I help leaders heighten their awareness so that they can uncover their blind spots and cultivate better leadership habits.

Why I do it

Everything begins with the brain. From a young age we are conditioned to think and behave in certain ways based on our upbringing. These patterns become deeply ingrained and some of them serve to amplify our leadership potential while others detract from it. It requires a commitment to the ongoing process of self-awareness to continuously uncover our blind spots in order to discover which habits are working for us and which are not. Then it takes conscious effort and discipline to replace old habits with new ones. But the rewards are priceless.

The neuroscience behind all the work that I do excites me not because I’m a scientist by training but because I have experienced first hand how transformative this process can be. As a student of these principles my own life has been impacted in ways I could have never imagined. In fact, I believe in this work so much that I changed my career path to dedicate my life to this: to developing conscious leaders and mindful workplaces.

My Background

I am a passionate advocate for diversity –it has shaped every aspect of my life. I’m proud of my multicultural background as a Montreal native with both Hispanic and Indian roots, fluent in English, Spanish and French.

My educational background is also richly diverse. I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, a Masters degree in Science (Experimental Medicine), a Masters degree in Business Administration, a professional certificate in acting from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York.

Prior to becoming a professional certified leadership coach, a diversity, equity and inclusion consultant, speaker and facilitator my career took me from medical research laboratories studying HIV/AIDS and advances in radiation oncology, to sales and brand management positions for top Fortune 100 companies to an array of artistic accomplishments as a member of the Screen Actors Guild American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). All of these unique experiences help to inform the work that I do today and the cultural sensitivity that I bring to each engagement.
